As I think of their wives
their daughters
and sons

God, I pray for my own.

May it be said of me
when the flowers are laid
by the precious you’ve placed
under my home

He sought the LORD
He loved my mother well

May you have men and women in your life who keep their word. May you crucify your flesh to all that is harmful to those closest to you. May you not take your work too seriously. May you laugh and be gentle. May you know and reflect a God we are to address as Abba.
